Advanced Learner

Advanced English Learner Class


These classes are for students who can speak, understand, read, and write in basic English but want to improve.


FREE Weekly Classroom Study will prepare you to:


  • Pass the GED or HiSET test (U.S. High School Equivalency Diploma) or
  • Improve your skills in reading, writing, history, science, and math
  • Get a job
  • Get a better job
  • Enroll in college or training program


In addition, you will meet with the technology teacher to work on technology skills for college and career. You will also meet with the advisor to work on interviewing, resume writing, job searching, etc.


Students are required to participate in ALL parts of the free classes.


Day Classes meet:

Tuesday – Friday 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (you must attend all 4 days)


Night Classes meet:

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (You must attend all 3 nights.)

from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM or from 7:00-9:00 PM. 


Once you enroll, you will be required to attend a new student orientation. Once orientation is completed, instruction will begin.


Classes are for enrolled students only.
