Karen Gale, Technology Coordinator
Karen has been wrestling computers at the Literacy Program and convincing students that they really want (need!) to learn spreadsheets for the past eight years.
She believes that all students can learn tech skills that help with careers, college plans and just keeping up with life, and works to make tech more understandable and accessible.
Karen also works with ESL learners and students preparing for citizenship.
Karen went to undergrad at the University of Virginia and graduate school in Berkeley, CA. At home, she enjoys being unplugged from the tech world and tending her large vegetable garden.
