Kristen Enos has been the Literacy Coordinator for the Plymouth Public Library’s Literacy Program since 2015. Prior to that, she taught high school equivalency classes for the program since 2004. Overall, she has close to 30 years of experience in teaching and administration. Kristen is a proud graduate of Bridgewater State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education.
Helping students reach their true potential is a passion of Kristen’s. She and the Literacy staff work as a team to make sure that The Literacy Program is a place where students from all ages and backgrounds can feel welcome and supported.
Kristen has worked closely with the library foundation to establish scholarships for students which cover the cost of HiSET, GED, and other testing and certifications. In addition, she writes and secures grants to ensure program funding.
When Kristen isn’t working, she likes to spend time with her husband and five children. In her free time, Kristen enjoys volunteer work helping Vietnam veterans, listening to 80s music, and having fun with friends. .
